The Drop №. 70 with Evan Seale

VRB’s weekly list of things to read, watch, listen to, and try that have helped us live better and be better. Brought to you this week by VRB Co-founder Evan Seale.

LISTEN :

Listen. Say what you want about Adele, but this remix of “Hello” by Conkarah is fire. Reggae is generally never a bad time, but when you combine it with the voice of an angel it makes for a rollercoaster of emotions. You can’t tell if you want to cry or spark up a J.

WATCH :

Watch. One of the most epic acoustic guitar solos in the books. Jon Butler is an American-Australian artist that learned to play a 1930s Dobro guitar passed down from his grandfather. Inspired by Black Sabbath, Fleetwood Mac, and Jeff Lang this man is dangerous with a pic. Enjoy.

READ :

Read. The Order of Time. What happens when a theoretical physicist specializing in quantum gravity writes a book on time? Your mind explodes in the most incredible way. But not like you think – The Order of Time is not loaded with equations and technical jargon. It’s broken down into 3 thoughtful parts: what modern physics understand about time, the world without time, and the source of time. Oh, and the audio version is read by Benedict Cumberbatch so now you have zero excuses.

TRY :

Try. Let me preface this by saying I have never been a sandals guy. Ever. I never saw a purpose except for the 100ft walk from the parking lot to the beach spot.  HOWEVER, I caved to NOBULL marketing and bought these slides and they have honestly been a game changer. They fit and stay on your foot great, and I swear they single-handedly got me through this gnarly Texas Summer. That is all.
